About UPS World Ease

Note: UPS World Ease is available only if you have a contract for this service.

Using this service, multiple shipments destined for a single country are grouped into one consolidated shipment for a single clearance. The consolidated shipment clears customs as one transaction. Then the consolidated shipment is split and delivered to consignees by UPS.

The consolidated shipment is referred to as the master shipment. The multiple shipments that are part of the master shipment are referred to as child shipments.

The general tasks for processing a World Ease master shipment include:

  1. Create a master shipment. See Create Master Shipments.

  2. Create child shipments and associate each child shipment with a master shipment. See Create Child Shipments and Associate Child Shipments with Master Shipments.

  3. Close out the master shipment. See Close Out Master Shipments.

  4. Run the End of Day process. See Run End of Day Process.

  5. Affix labels and assemble the master shipment. See Labels for UPS World Ease and Assemble Master Shipments with Appropriate Documentation.
