Notes:
This task requires previous experience working with databases. Ask your technical staff for help if necessary.
Prerequisite: Create an export map. See Create or Edit an Export Map from WorldShip to an ODBC Database, Create or Edit an Export Map from WorldShip to a CSV-Formatted File, or Create or Edit an Export Map from WorldShip to an XML Folder.
To export shipment data automatically during End of Day:
On the Import-Export tab, select Automatic Export, point to Export During End of Day, and do one of the following:
Select More to export using a single map. The Select Map from List for Export window appears.
Select Multiple Maps to export using more than one map at the same time. The Select Maps from List for Export window appears.
Take the appropriate action:
If you selected More, select an export map name and click the Export button.
If you selected Multiple Maps, select the appropriate check boxes in the Select Maps column and click the Export button.
Run the End of Day process. See Run End of Day Process. UPS WorldShip automatically exports all shipment data to the destination specified by the export map(s).
Tip: To choose another database, repeat steps 1 and 2. To make switching between databases easier, the three most recently-used map names appear on the Import-Export tab under Export During End of Day.
When you are finished, select the Import-Export tab, point to Export During End of Day, and select Off.
