Notes:
Be sure to authenticate the six-digit UPS account number with UPS before trying to add a shipper. If the number is not authenticated, a message appears, and you must click the Web link and authenticate the number before adding the shipper.
If you work in a workgroup environment, see Shipper Editor Rules in a Workgroup Environment.
The Shipper Editor allows you to add shipper information and preferences for multiple shippers.
The Shipper Editor window displays the following:
Each shipper’s number, company or name, status (Approved, Pending, or Rejected), and negotiated rates status (Click "Request Rates," Rates Requested, Not Enabled, Disabled, and Rates Applied). A
icon appears to the left of the shipper number of the active shipper.
When you select a shipper, a read-only summary of the shipper appears under Shipper Information.
Buttons to add or modify a shipper, delete a rejected shipper, set the active shipper on your system, update the status of a shipper, and request negotiated rates for a shipper.
