Add or Modify a Shipper

To add a shipper:

Note: Be sure to authenticate the six-digit UPS account number with UPS before trying to add a shipper. If the number is not authenticated, a message appears, and you must click the Web link and authenticate the number before adding the shipper.

1. On the Tools tab, select Shipper Editor. The Shipper Editor window appears.

2. Click the Add button. The Add Shipper window appears.

3. On the Shipper Information tab, type information in all fields as needed. Fields with blue titles are required fields.

4. Click the OK button. WorldShip registers the shipper with UPS, and then the Shipper Editor window shows the new shipper under Existing Shipper Numbers. You cannot specify settings for the shipper until the shipper is approved. See Update the Status of a Shipper.

5. Once the shipper is approved, you can specify the shipper settings. See procedure below.

To specify settings for a new shipper or modify the settings for an existing shipper:

1. On the Tools tab, select Shipper Editor. The Shipper Editor window appears.

2. Under Existing Shipper Numbers, select the shipper for which you want to add or modify settings.

3. Click the Modify button. The Modify Shipper window appears.

4. Click the appropriate tab and type information in all fields as needed. Fields with blue titles are required fields. For more information, click the following tab titles:

5. Click the OK button. The Shipper Editor window appears.

6. Click the Close button. Type your drop-down text here.
