After installation and communications set up are complete, this window appears and requires you to register (or commission) with UPS before using UPS WorldShip.
Tips:
To change your communications set-up, click the Communications Setup button. The Communications Setup window appears.
For information on providing address information, see Address Guidelines.
Once you click the Finish button, WorldShip automatically contacts UPS and transmits your registration information, which may take three to five minutes. During this time, several messages may scroll in the message window. If transmission of your registration information is successful, the Shipping window appears. If transmission fails, a message states why the transmission failed.
Your UPS account number must be authenticated with UPS. If authentication is required to continue, the Authenticate Your Invoice Information window appears and requires you to enter recent invoice information. Once you enter this information and click the Submit button, the invoice information is validated. If the information is valid, the Shipping window appears. If the information is not valid, you must correct the information and try again. The authentication process must be successful in order for you to use WorldShip.
You can also authenticate your UPS account number from here.
If you have trouble registering or want to change the information after you have registered, see Shipper Address Tab in the Shipper Editor Window and UPS Technical Support Telephone Numbers.
