Follow these guidelines for the address boxes:
Address – Use the Address 1, Address 2 and Address 3 boxes to enter the street address.
Note: UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box. If you cannot obtain a street address and use a PO Box, the telephone number of the recipient must be on the label. A shipment addressed to a PO Box can experience delays, is not covered by any UPS service guarantees, and is assessed as an address correction surcharge.
Country/Territory – Click the down arrow in the Country/Territory box and select a country/territory or type the name of the country/territory in the box.
Postcode – This code is required for many destinations. See Countries/Territories Requiring Postcodes.
City or Town and State/Province/County – Use the following guidelines for the City or Town and State/Province/County boxes:
If such lists exist for the country selected in the Country/Territory box, click the down arrow in the City or Town and State/Province/County boxes and select a city or town and state/province/county. If the appropriate entry does not exist in a list or if the list does not exist for the country selected, type the city or town and state/province/county (up to 30 characters), as needed.
Note: If the Country/Territory box shows Ireland, Republic of, click the down arrow in the State/Province/County box and select an entry, which can be a blank. You cannot type an entry in the State/Province/County box if the Country/Territory box shows Ireland, Republic of.
For US 50 and Canada destinations for small package shipments, use the two-letter abbreviation for the state or province. See US State and Canada Province Codes.
For Australia and Mexico destinations for Air or Ground Freight shipments, use the 2-to-3-letter abbreviation for the Australia province code or the 2-letter abbreviation for the Mexico state code. See Australia Province and Mexico State Codes for Air/Ground Freight.
For other destinations, type up to five uppercase letters and numbers (without spaces) to abbreviate the state or province.
