Notes:
UPS Trade Direct is available only if you have a contract for this service.
The End of Day process does not apply to Trade Direct.
To close out consolidated movements:
On the My Services tab, select Trade Direct Manager. The UPS Trade Direct Manager window appears.
Select the consolidated movement you want to close out.
Tips:
To select multiple consolidated movements, hold down the Ctrl key and select the movements.
To select a consecutive group of consolidated movements, hold down the Shift key and select the first and last movements.
To review information about a consolidated movement, simply select the movement from the list to view the details for that movement under Consolidated Movement Detail. If you need to edit the movement, see Edit Child Shipments or Consolidated Movements.
Click the Close Out Movement button. If you select multiple consolidated movements, UPS WorldShip closes out those movements in the order in which they appear.
If no child shipments are associated with the selected consolidated movement, a message states that continuing with close out will permanently delete the movement and asks if you want to delete the selected movement. To delete the consolidated movement, click the Yes button. To cancel the close out and keep the consolidated movement on your system, click the No button.
If child shipments under Imported Shipments in the Shipment History window are associated with the selected consolidated movement, a message states that closing the consolidated movement will remove that association and asks if you want to close out the consolidated movement. To remove the association (which will move the child shipments from the USI-level folder to a shipper-level folder in the Shipment History window) and close out the consolidated movement, click the Yes button. To cancel the close out and keep the association, click the No button.
If a consolidated movement includes a shipment that contains goods with different currencies, the Enter Invoice Totals window appears. In this window, enter the invoice currency and amounts for the consolidated movement.
The labels and documents print. See Print or Reprint Labels and Documents.
