Consolidated Movement
A group of child shipments. After picking up or receiving your shipments, UPS consolidates your shipments into one movement, transports the movement to the destination country, and provides customs clearance. After reaching the destination country, the consolidated movement is separated into individual shipments and those shipments are dropped into either the UPS Small package or the LTL/TL (see Notes) network and delivered directly to the ultimate consignees.
Notes:
Less-than Truck/Trailer Load (LTL) refers to a quantity of freight less than that required to fill a truck or trailer.
Truck/Trailer Load (TL) refers to the quantity of freight required to fill a truck or trailer.
