Add a Custom Declaration Statement

To add a custom declaration statement:

  1. On the Tools tab, select More Tools and then Create a Custom Declaration Statement. The Declaration Statement Editor window appears.

    Note:
    You can also access the Declaration Statement Editor window from other windows. See About the Declaration Statement Editor.

  2. Type a name for the new statement, up to 30 characters, in the Declaration Statement Name box.

  3. Type the statement text, up to 550 characters, in the Declaration Statement Text box.

  4. Click the Add button. The custom declaration statement name appears in the Declaration Statement Name box.

To add a custom declaration statement based on a predefined or custom declaration statement:

  1. On the Tools tab, select More Tools and then Create a Custom Declaration Statement. The Declaration Statement Editor window appears.

  2. Click the down arrow in the Declaration Statement Name box and select the name of the declaration statement on which you want to base a custom declaration statement. The text for the existing declaration statement appears in the Declaration Statement Text box.

  3. Change the name of the existing declaration statement in the Declaration Statement Name box to a unique name.

  4. Modify the text in the Declaration Statement Text box.

  5. Click the Add button. The custom declaration statement name appears in the Declaration Statement Name box.
