UPS Worldwide Economy is available only if you have a contract for this
service.
The UPS Worldwide Economy service is a low-cost deferred international
small package service designed for low-weight, low-value shipments.
When working with this service, keep in mind:
UPS Worldwide Economy is a contract-only service, utilizing a vendor network, which offers two delivery options for international shipments.
If your contract for UPS Worldwide Economy service provides for both DDP and DDU service options, you must select one of the service options for each individual package.
UPS Worldwide Economy Service offerings:
Worldwide Economy DDP (Delivered Duties Paid).
Duties and taxes are paid by the shipper at the time of shipment.
Shipment weight under 10 lbs.
Worldwide Economy DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid).
Duties and taxes are unpaid, and collected at the time of delivery
Shipment weight maximum of 4.4 lbs. (2 kg)
Master Carton:
A Worldwide Economy DDP or DDU Package can be processed either individually
or as part of a Master Carton. All packages must be shipped in a Master
Carton to the designated export site as set forth in your contract for
the UPS Worldwide Economy service
Note: If you choose to process the packages individually, you must still transport the packages in a Master Carton to the designated export site.
