CO Tab on Customs Documentation Tab

This tab allows you to specify information that appears on the Certificate of Origin (CO), an export document that must accompany some shipments bound for international destinations. See Determine Required International Documents.

The CO tab appears on the Customs Documentation tab only if all the following apply:

• You specify an international address to a country other than Canada or Mexico on the Ship To/Pickup From tab.

• You select the Enable CO check box on the International tab in the Shipper Editor window.

• You select a non-Letter service.

Complete the following information on this tab:

1. Select the UPS Prepare CO (Extra Fee) check box if you want UPS to prepare the CO for you.

2. Type the owner or agent of the good in the Owner or Agent box.
