To automatically schedule a pickup or drop off during processing of a Worldwide Express Freight shipment:
Enter the shipment as usual. See Process a Shipment with the Worldwide Express Freight Service Option. When you click the Process Shipment button, the Pickup/Drop Off Request Dialog window appears.
Under Drop-off Location:
Click the down arrow in the UPS Drop-off Location box, and select the UPS location where the shipment will be dropped off. The location information appears directly below the box.
To view the last 50-feet directions to the drop-off location, click the View button (if available). The Drop-off Location - Last 50 feet Directions window appears.
Review the directions, and either click the Print button to print the directions or the Close button to close the window without printing the directions. The Pickup-Drop off Request Dialog window appears.
Review the hours of operation for the drop-off location.
Click the down arrow in the Drop-off Date box and select a drop-off date on the calendar.
Click the up and down arrows in the Drop-off Time box to select a drop-off time.
If available, select the Print Pickup & Delivery Instructions check box to print the last 50-feet directions and information for both drop-off and delivery locations.
Under Delivery Location:
Review the UPS location where the shipment will be held for customer pickup.
To view the last 50-feet directions to the delivery location, click the View button (if available). The Delivery Location - Last 50 feet Directions window appears.
Review the directions, and either click the Print button to print the directions or the Close button to close the window without printing the directions. The Pickup/Drop off Request Dialog window appears.
Review the hours of operation for the delivery location.
Provide any additional instructions in the Special Instructions box.
Click the OK button.
