A Return Services shipment requires either a Commercial Invoice or an Address Only Invoice.
UPS WorldShip can prepare an Invoice or an Address Only Invoice on your behalf if you do the following:
Use the International tab in the Shipper Editor to specify that you want UPS WorldShip to generate either an Invoice or an Address Only Invoice. See Print International Documents using UPS WorldShip.
Under Shipment Options on the Options tab, select the Return Services check box and then select the Print Return Label option.
The appropriate Invoice as specified in the Shipper Editor prints along with the return label each time you process a Return Services shipment in which you select the Print Return Label option. You must include both the Invoice or Address Only Invoice and the return label with the outbound shipment.
The customer should do the following:
Provide the necessary information on the Invoice or Address Only Invoice and include it with the shipment being returned.
Apply the return label to the package.
Give the shipment to a UPS driver or drop it off at a UPS Customer Center or an Authorized Shipping Outlet.
