A database back-up can only be restored using the UPS WordShip Support Utility.
To restore a back-up in the UPS WorldShip Support Utility, close WorldShip and do the following:
On the Windows task bar, click Start.(For Windows 8.x move the mouse to the right side of the screen and click search)
In the Search box type UPS WorldShip Support Utility.
Click UPS WorldShip Support Utility in the results.
In the UPS WorldShip Support Utility window, double click Data Maintenance.
In the UPS WorldShip Data Maintenance window, Database Operations section, click Restore
The UPS WorldShip -Restore Files window opens and shows the default location. (C:\ProgramData\UPS\WSTD\SUPPORT\DBSupport). To change the default location, click Browse and navigate to the location where you saved the back-up.
In the Choose the location of the back-up you want to restore window select the back-up to be restored.
The File Set drop-down defaults to All. With All selected, click Restore.
A message displays letting you know you are about to restore files, the location and a back-up will be created. Click Yes to continue. A UPS WorldShip - Restore Files progress window opens and shows the Restore details.
When the Restore has finished, a message displays indicating that the restore was successful. Click OK and follow the prompts to exit the UPS WorldShip Support Utility.
When you are prompted with the message 'Are you sure you want to exit the UPS Support application?||apos||, click Yes.
