Use the Shipper Editor to add or modify shipper information and preferences for multiple shippers. On the various tabs in this window, you can set the alternate Ship From, preferences, international, UPS World Ease (if available) and Trade Direct settings. See About the Shipper Editor.
Shipper settings specific to Air or Ground Freight shipments include:
On the Freight tab, specify the number of labels to print per handling unit and per loose item in the Per Handling Unit box.
On the Freight tab, select the Print SLI check box under Air Freight to print the Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI) during shipment processing.
On the Freight tab, select the Consolidate Shipments check box under Air Freight to consolidate shipments (only for House Account Air Freight shippers).
On the Freight tab, select the Consolidate Shipments check box under Ground Freight to consolidate shipments (only for Ground Freight shippers eligible to consolidate and close out shipments).

Use the System Preferences Editor to add or modify system preferences. On the various tabs in this window, you can set electronic scale or dimensioner (if available), printer and label, Shipment Detail Report, shipping, and other miscellaneous system preferences. See About the System Preferences Editor.
System preferences specific to Air or Ground Freight shipments include:
On the Shipment Detail Report Setup tab, select the Print Customer Copy of Freight DDR check box to automatically print the Daily Shipment Detail Report each time you close out Air or Ground Freight shipments.
On the Shipping tab, click the down arrow in the Commodity Weight Type box under Freight and select the weight type (that is, Total Weight or Unit Weight) in the Shipping window.
On the Shipping tab, select the Apply Pallet Defaults check box under Handling Units to provide a default value to add when processing an Air or a Ground Freight shipment. If you select this check box, supply the value in the Pallet Weight box.
On the Shipping tab, select the Schedule Collection during Freight Processing check box under Ground Freight Collection Request to schedule Ground Freight collection while you process shipments.
On the Shipping tab, click the Collection Notifications button under Ground Freight Collection Request to display the Pickup Notifications for LTL window and schedule collection notifications for your Ground Freight shipments.
