Labels for UPS World Ease

One 4" x 11" thermal label prints for the doc box and each child shipment package in a master shipment. The label for the child shipment package prints when you click Process Child Shipment, and the label for the doc box prints when you close out the master shipment. For Paperless shipments without a doc box, WorldShip prints a Summary label with instructions. If you print labels for multiple master shipments, the labels are sorted by Ship To country in ascending order.

The 4" x 11" World Ease label consists of two parts:

• Address Label with the Under Label. The address label is the topmost portion of the printed label and consists of the Ship To information. The under label (which is part of the address label) is the middle portion of the printed label and is easily located by the large barcode and the INV-CC designation.

• Over Label. The over label is the bottom portion of the printed label and is printed perpendicular to the Address Label with the Under Label. This part of the label shows the following information about the master shipment: port of entry, number of packages, and last three digits of the tracking number.

Affix the World Ease label to the Doc Box or child shipment package as follows:

1. Remove the address label with the attached under label from the thermal label backing.

2. Apply this label to the top of the package.

3. Remove the over label from the thermal label backing, making sure not to remove the center portion of the thermal label backing.

4. Center and apply the over label so that it covers only the address label that you applied in step 2.

The completed package should show only the over label with the under label directly beneath it. The address label should be hidden by the over label.

Note: The center portion of the thermal label backing on the over label must stay in place (see step 3) so that it does not stick to the address label. Once the consolidated shipment clears customs at the port of entry and the shipment is split, the over label is torn away to reveal the address label, and the package is delivered to the consignee by UPS.
