Note: UPS Trade Direct is available only if you have a contract for this service.
Quantum View Notify is a consolidated movement-level option that allows you to send an e-mail to your customer or a third party informing them of details associated with the consolidated movement.
To add this option:
On the My Services tab, select Trade Direct Manager. The UPS Trade Direct Manager window appears.
Select the consolidated movement for which you want to add this option.
Click the Quantum View Notify button on the Details tab under consolidated Movement Detail. The Quantum View Notify Recipients (Consolidated Movement) window appears.
Specify up to five e-mail recipients and the type of each notification. These types include:
Ship Notification - an e-mail that alerts the recipient(s) that consolidated movement information has been received by UPS.
Exception Notification - an e-mail that alerts the recipient(s) of a rescheduled delivery date; you will receive one e-mail for each package with an exception.
Delivery Notification - an e-mail that alerts the recipient(s) about the arrival of a consolidated movement, including the date, time, and name of the recipient.
Click the OK button. The UPS Trade Direct Manager window appears.
