The Trade Direct tab allows you to specify the types and number of copies of labels and documents to print for Consolidated Movements and child shipments using WorldShip. You can also specify a Transportation Emergency Number (if the shipper is enabled for dangerous goods shipping).
Notes:
This tab appears only if you have a contract for UPS Trade Direct.
If you need additional labels for a particular child shipment or consolidated movement, you can reprint the labels. See Reprint Labels.
Using the Trade Direct tab:
Choose how you want to handle consolidated movement documents:
To print the Bill of Lading, type the number of copies you want for each consolidated movement in the Bill of Lading box. You can request a minimum of three copies and a maximum of nine copies.
Tip: This document prints only if the Product Type is Cross Border North or Cross Border South.
To print the Customs Invoice, type the number of copies you want for each consolidated movement in the Customs Invoice box. You can request a minimum of zero copies and a maximum of nine copies.
Choose how you want to handle UPS Small Package child shipment labels:
To print Package Pallet Labels, select the Print Package Pallet Labels check box. Clear this check box if you do not want to print these labels.
To indicate how many Package Pallet Labels to print per UPS Small Package child shipment, type the number of copies you want in the Package Pallet Labels box. You can request a minimum of four copies and a maximum of nine copies.
Choose how you want to handle LTL/TL child shipment documents:
To print Carton Labels, select the Print Carton Labels check box. UPS WorldShip prints one label for each non-pallet container specified in the child shipment. Clear this check box if you do not want to print these labels.
To print pallet labels, select the Print Pallet Labels check box. Clear this check box if you do not want to print these labels.
To indicate how many pallet labels to print per pallet, type the number of copies you want in the Pallet Labels box. You can request a minimum of four labels and a maximum of nine labels.
To indicate how many Bill of Lading documents to print for each LTL/TL child shipment, type the number of copies you want in the LTL/TL Bill of Lading box. You can request a minimum of three copies and a maximum of nine copies.
Type a telephone number in the Transportation Emergency Number box (if the shipper is enabled for Dangerous Goods shipping).
