The Shipper Information tab allows you to modify some fields for an existing shipper.
Note: The old address information is retained in the Shipment History window. If you edit or repeat a shipment from the Shipment History window, the old address information appears in the Shipping window instead of the modified address information for the shipper.
To modify shipper information for an existing shipper:
Verify and update the following fields as needed: Shipper Name, Contact, Address 3, Telephone, Fax, Tax ID Number, Tax ID Type, E-mail Address (see Validate E-mail Addresses), and Company Display Name (if you have a contract for this field).
Click OK to return to the Shipper Editor window.
Click Close to return to the Shipping window.
Note: UPS WorldShip displays a message stating that the modified shipper information will be electronically sent to UPS the next time WorldShip communicates with the UPS Data Center.
To modify shipper information for all fields including the read only Address 1, Address 2, Country/Territory, Postal Code, City or Town, State/Province/County, UPS Account Number, and PTN:
Click OK to return to the Shipper Editor window.
Click Close to return to the Shipping window.
Click the UPS.com tab and then click the UPS Home icon.
When the browser displays, hover the mouse over the My UPS tab and select Maintain Your UPS Account.
Select the account number to edit from the drop down menu, and then click Continue
Note: You may be required to authenticate a UPS invoice. If so, complete the invoice fields using one of the last 3 Delivery Service Invoices billed to the account, or an International Package Services Invoice received within the last 45 days.
Click Next.
Click Edit on the top left corner of the Your Pickup Address section, and edit the fields as needed.
Click Update.
Notes:
The changed information will be updated the following day when WorldShip communicates with UPS.
