To schedule a task:
On the Tools tab, select More Tools and then Schedule a Task. The Task Schedule Editor window appears.
Select Add Scheduled Task under Scheduled Task Name.
On the Task menu, select Open. The Select a Task window appears.
Select the type of task you want to add and click the Next button.
If you select Backup Database, Communicate with UPS, or End of Day Warning Message, the When Do You Want the Task to Run? window appears. Skip to step 6.
If you select Batch Export or Batch Import, the Select a Map Name and Information window appears. Continue with step 5.
In the Select a Map Name and Information window:
Select a map name under Your List of Maps. Other options may appear depending on the map type selected.
Specify other information as needed.
Click the Next button. The Schedule Summary window appears. Skip to step 7.
In the When Do You Want the Task to Run? window:
Click the down arrow in the Perform This Task box and select the frequency (such as, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Run One Time Only, or End of Day) for the task.
Select the time and day you want this task to start.
Select the scheduled task frequency with which to perform this task.
Click the Next button. The Schedule Summary window appears.
Review the task and its schedule and click the Finish button. The Task Schedule Editor window appears and shows the newly scheduled task.
On the Task menu, select Close. The Task Schedule Editor window closes.
