To search for a shipment:
In the Shipment History window, click the Find button. The Find By window appears.
Select the following criteria as appropriate:
Type the customer name or any part of the address in the boxes on the left. See Address Guidelines.
Click the down arrow in the Reference Number box, select the appropriate reference number, and specify the value to search for in the text box beside it. If you do not know the reference number, select Any Package Reference No. in the Reference Number box.
Click the down arrow in the Shipper Number box and select a shipper.
Click the down arrow in the UPS Service box and select a service.
Click the down arrow in the Package Type box and select a package type.
Type the tracking number in the Tracking Number box.
Click the down arrow in the Tracking Number Type box and select a tracking number type.
Select how you want the shipments to be sorted:
Click the down arrow in the Sort By box and select how you want to sort. For example, if you select Tracking Number, the results of your search are sorted by tracking number.
Click the down arrow in the Order box and select to sort in ascending or descending order.
Click the down arrow in the Voided Shipments box and select whether to include or exclude voided shipments or search them exclusively.
Click the down arrow in the start and end Date Range boxes and select the dates on the calendars for the range of dates to search.
For billing information, select the appropriate bill-to information on which to base your search.
For UPS World Ease shipments:
Note: These fields appear only if you have a contract for UPS World Ease.
Type the master shipment ID in the Master Shipment ID box.
Tip: If you type a shipper number in the Master Shipment ID box, all World Ease shipments for that shipper appear.
Type the importer account number in the Importer Acct. No. box.
For Trade Direct consolidated movements:
Note: These fields appear only if you have a contract for UPS Trade Direct.
Type the Unique Shipment Identifier (USI) in the Unique Shipment Identifier box.
Click the down arrow in the Product Type box and select a product type.
Type the shipper reference number in the Shipper Reference box.
For Freight Shipments, enter a PRO number or Shipment number in the PRO/Shipment number box.
Click the Find button. UPS WorldShip searches the shipments, sorts the results as specified, and selects the first shipment in the Shipment History window that matches your search criteria. If more than one shipment matches your criteria, the Find Navigation Bar appears. See Use the Find Navigation Bar.
Note: If you begin to define your search and then change your mind, click the Clear button to remove all data in this window.
