Note: Electronic scale and dimensioner support is not available in some countries.
This Test Active Scale window appears after you set up the electronic scale and click the Test Scale button (on the Hardware tab in the System Preferences Editor window). This window displays your selection for scale type/model as well as the status of the scale connection and the weight registered by the scale.
If the scale is connected and is registering a valid weight, this window appears and displays Connected in the Connect Status box, the weight registered by the scale in the Weight box, and the message "Weight Processed" at the bottom of the window.
If the scale is connected but is registering an invalid weight, an information message appears such as "Unable to process weight."
If the scale is not connected, the message "The connection to the electronic scale has failed" appears. To retry this connection, check the cable for proper connection to the scale and verify that the scale is on. Also, check that you selected the correct Scale Port and Scale Type from the lists.
The Test Active Dimensioner/Scanner window appears after you set up the electronic dimensioner/scanner and click the Test Dimensioner button (on the Hardware tab in the System Preferences Editor window). This window displays your selection for model as well as the status of the dimensioner connection and the weight and dimensions registered by the dimensioner (as available).
If the nonintegrated dimensioner is connected and is registering valid dimensions, this window appears and displays Connected in the Connect Status box; the dimensions registered by the dimensioner in the Length, Width, and Height boxes; and the message "Dimensions Processed" at the bottom of the window.
If the integrated dimensioner is connected and is registering a valid weight and dimensions, this window appears and displays Connected in the Connect Status box; the weight registered by the dimensioner in the Weight box; the dimensions registered by the dimensioner in the Length, Width, and Height boxes; and the message "Weight/Dimensions Processed" at the bottom of the window.
If the dimensioner is connected but is registering invalid dimensions, a message appears such as "Unable to process dimensions."
If the dimensioner is not connected, the message "The connection to the electronic dimensioner has failed" appears. To retry this connection, check the cable for proper connection to the dimensioner and verify that the dimensioner is on. Also, check that you selected the correct settings from the System Preferences Editor.
