A Ground Freight shipment can be one of the following:
Greater than 150 pounds.
Oversized dimensions.
Palletized.
On the Detail tab, supply the following Ground Freight shipping details:
Shipment dimensions. You can type any numbers in the Length, Width, Height, and Total Cube boxes.
Bill of Lading (BOL) type. Select either UPS or VICS (Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standards) under BOL Type.
Price
Per Cubic Foot. Type a USD numeric value in the Price Per Cubic
Foot box.
Note: Enter only for UPS Freight LTL shipments
with Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands origins and
destinations.
Price
Per CWT (hundred weight). Type a USD numeric value in the Price
Per CWT box.
Note: Enter only for UPS Freight LTL shipments with Hawaii,
Guam, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands origins and destinations.
Pieces Shipped As. Type the number of pieces for each handling unit.
Special Instructions. Type up to 400 characters in the Special Instructions for Handling, Special Instructions for Pickup, and Special Instructions for Delivery boxes.
Pickup Date. Click the down arrow and select the pickup date for the shipment. This date cannot be earlier than the current date or later than 42 days past the current date.
On the Detail tab, supply the following Air Freight shipping details:
Pieces Shipped As. Type the number of pieces for each handling unit.
Special Instructions for Handling. Type up to 400 characters in the Special Instructions for Handling box.
Consignee Remarks. Type up to 30 characters in the Consignee Remarks box.
Countries
or Territories of Original Manufacture. Click Select Countries
or Territories of Original Manufacture to supply a maximum of five
countries or territories of original manufacture of the shipment in
the Select Countries or Territories of Original Manufacture window.
Note: You must select at least one country or territory of manufacture
for Air Freight shipments with a Canada destination.
Pickup Date. Click the down arrow and select the pickup date for the shipment. This date cannot be earlier than the current date or later than 42 days past the current date.
