Specify the Ship To Address for Air/Ground Freight

On the Ship To tab in the Shipping window, you must provide information about the company or customer receiving your shipment and the delivery address. The blue labels indicate required fields.

To display information for an existing customer from the Address Book, do one of the following:

WorldShip fills in the rest of the address information from the Address Book.

To display information for a new customer:

  1. Select the Update Address Book check box to add the new customer to the Address Book. Clear this check box if you do not want to add the new customer to the Address Book.

  2. Select the Residential check box if the shipment is to be delivered to a residential location. Do not select this check box if the shipment is to be delivered to a commercial location.

  3. Type the name, address, and telephone number of the person or company to receive your shipment. See Address Guidelines.

  4. Type the e-mail address in the optional box as needed. See Validate E-mail Addresses.

  5. For Air Freight:

If you select Receiver or Third Party in the Bill Transportation To box on the Service tab, supply either a 6-digit UPS account number or 9-digit Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) number in the UPS/SCS Acc. No. box on the Ship To or Third Party tab respectively. UPS WorldShip validates the format that you enter.

  7. The Airport Code box appears instead of the Tax ID Number box.

  1. For Ground Freight: Select the Density Eligible check box on the Ship To tab or in the Third Party Address window as needed.

    Note: This check box appears if the payor has a Density Rating contract.
