If you enter an invalid city or town, state/province/county and postcode combination in the Ship To/Collection From tab in the Shipping window, this window appears and allows you to correct the invalid address. You must choose a city or town, state/province/county and postcode combination from the list of valid alternatives before you can process the shipment.
Notes:
The City-State-Zip Validator checks only the city or town, state/province/county and postcode combination.
If you cannot find your address in the address validation list, check that you have filled in all three fields and/or confirm the address with your customer.
The City-State-Zip Validator uses only the first five digits of a postcode to validate an address.
If you want the City-State-Zip Validator to suggest postcodes for your address, enter a city or town and state/province/county, but leave the postcode blank. Then choose an appropriate postcode from the suggestions.
If you want the City-State-Zip Validator to suggest city or town names, enter a postcode and state/province/county, but leave the city or town name blank. Then choose an appropriate city or town name from the suggestions.
