Set Up a Label or World Ease Printer

Notes:

• To receive a UPS thermal label printer to replace your label printer, contact your UPS Account Executive.

• UPS World Ease is available only if you have a contract for this service.

• You must install the label or World Ease printer before you can set up the printer. See Install a Label Printer or Install a World Ease Printer.

You must print shipment labels to process your packages. The type of printer on which you plan to print these labels determines your options of label stock dimensions. Some label stocks contain an extra area, known as the extended area, so you can customise your labels with a shipment label header, generic barcode, an SSCC-18 barcode, a pre-printed label stock, a graphical image of your company logo in *.pcx or *.bmp format, or one to five reference numbers.
