Supply DDTC Information for a Commodity

To supply the Directorate of Defence Trade Controls (DDTC) information for arms control for an international commodity:

  1. On the Tools tab, select Commodities and then International. The International Commodity Editor window appears.

  2. Under EEI/SLI-Specific Data, click the DDTC button. The DDTC Information window appears.

    Note: The selected licence type determines if the DDTC button is active.

  3. In the DDTC Information window:

    Note: The fields that are active depends on the Licence Type entered in the International Commodity Editor window.

  4. Click the down arrow in the DDTC ITAR Exemption Number box and select a number. See DDTC ITAR Exemption Codes.

  5. Enter a number in the DDTC ACM Number box.

    Note: This box is active only if the Licence Type is SAU or SGB.

  6. Enter a number in the DDTC Registration Number box.

  7. Select the SME (Significant Military Equipment) check box as needed.

  8. Select the Eligible Party Certification Number check box as needed.

  9. Click the down arrow in the USML Category Code box and select a code. See DDTC USML Category Codes.

  10. Enter the quantity of the DDTC in the DDTC Quantity box.

  11. Click the down arrow in the Unit of Measurement box and select a measurement.

  12. Enter a number in the DDTC Licence Line Number box.

  1. Click the OK button.
