Features and Changes
International Compliance Tab – This new tab will improve the customer experience and reduce import delays to time in transit for non-document shipments. See International Compliance Tab.
Harmonised Code Prediction – UPS will predict the Harmonised Tariff Code for international commodities during shipment processing.
Itemised Estimated Landed Costs – Know your estimated duties, taxes, VAT, and brokerage fees before you ship for every commodity in your shipment. See International Tab in the Shipper Editor Window.
Vendor Collect ID – A new PVA (Postponed VAT Accounting) field will now be available for international shipments to the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland. This field replaces the HMRC Number for UK shipments and the IOSS Number for NIE shipments. See Vendor Collect ID.
Commodity Editor with Feedback Loop – Harmonised Tariff Codes can now be saved in the International Commodity Editor. If UPS Brokerage or Customs makes changes to your Harmonised Tariff Code, UPS will automatically update your saved commodity details. See Add an International Commodity with Commodity Editor.
Shipping Compliance Enhancements - Certain fields are now required for shipments going to or coming from countries with new tax ID requirements.
