Move your WorldShip data from a single workstation to another single workstation.
To move your WorldShip data:
Access and use the instructions to move WorldShip data to another computer. See Print Instructions to Move WorldShip Data to Another Computer.
On computer # 1:
On the Support tab, select Move Data. The Instructions to Move WorldShip Data appears.
Click Back Up. The Back Up Files window appears.
Select the folder where you want to back up the WorldShip files to by using one of the following methods:
To use the default location (C:\ProgramData\UPS\WSTD\SUPPORT\DBSupport), click Back Up.
To select a different location, click Browse, navigate to and select the folder. Click OK, then Back Up.
The Back Up Files progress window is displayed, stating that the file back-up is complete and showing a path to the back-up files.
Record the path to the back-up files (such as C:\ProgramData\UPS\WSTD\Support\DBSupport\UPSWS_MoveBackup_YYYYMMDD_Vxxx) for when you copy the data to computer # 2.
Click OK. The Back Up Files window appears.
Click Exit. The Move WorldShip Data Instructions window appears.
Click Close to exit the Move Data Instructions window.
Navigate to and select the backup folder on computer # 1 and copy the UPSWS_MoveBackup_YYYYMMDD_Vxxx folder from computer # 1 to a location that is accessible from computer # 2.
On computer # 2, install WorldShip with the following options:
Use the same install location on computer # 2 as used on computer # 1. If the install locations do not match, the data is not moved correctly.
In the UPS WorldShip Set Up window, select the Finish Moving WorldShip Data checkbox.
In the Finish Moving WorldShip Data window, click Browse and navigate to and select the UPSWS_MoveBackup folder on computer # 2. This is the location selected in Step 3.
