On the Service tab in the Shipping window, you must specify shipping services for the Air or Ground Freight shipment.
To supply the shipping services:
Select the Freight check box.
Click the down arrow in the UPS Service box and select a service type.
For Air Freight House Accounts: Select the Drop Off check box to display the Drop Off Request window and specify the drop-off date and time of the Air Freight shipment at a UPS Service Centre. See Schedule Air Freight Collection/Drop Off During Shipment Processing.
Click the down arrow in the Bill Transportation To box and select who will pay for the transportation, duty, and taxes.
Tips:
If you select Third Party in the Bill Transportation To box, the Third Party Address window appears. In the Third Party Address window, type information about the third party. Once you supply this information, the ... button appears on the Service tab to indicate that you have selected a third party. Click the ... button to view or change the third-party information.
For Air Freight: If you select Receiver or Third Party, supply either a 6-digit UPS account number or 9-digit Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) number in the UPS/SCS Acc. No. box on the Ship To or Third-Party tab respectively. UPS WorldShip validates the format that you enter.
For Air Freight: If you select Shipper or Third Party in the Bill Transportation To box, select one of the following check boxes, as appropriate:
Select the DDU check box for the Delivery Duty Unpaid additional billing option.
Select the DDP check box for the Delivery Duty Paid additional billing option.
Tip: These check boxes are mutually exclusive (that is, you can only select one check box). To change options, you must clear the check box before you can select the other check box.
For Ground Freight: If you select Receiver or Third Party in the Bill Transportation To box, select the Density Eligible check box on the Ship To tab or in the Third-Party window as needed.
Note: This check box appears if the payer has a Density Rating contract.
