Click the Options tab in the Shipping window to determine the availability of shipment-level options during rate comparison of LTL and Ground (Freight Pricing) shipments.
The following options may appear under Ground Freight Pricing Options on the Options tab:
A shipment from any origin to any destination that requires additional handling due to its size or packaging is assessed an Additional Handling charge per parcel.
Note: See Additional Handling in Shipment and Package Options for information on the shipment types for which you can apply Additional Handling.
When you select Additional Handling under Ground (Freight Pricing) on the Options tab, enter the number of packages in your shipment in the Number of Packages box. WorldShip applies the Large Parcel option to the first parcel and applies Additional Handling to the remaining parcels.
The value of the parcel declared by you for purposes of obtaining additional protection against loss or damage. If the payer directs you not to add declared value to a Freight Collect or Third Party shipment, you are not protected in the event of loss or damage.
When you select Declared Value under Ground (Freight Pricing) on the Options tab, you can specify the number of parcels for the Standard Declared Value and the number of parcels for the Shipper Paid Declared Value, but the combined number of parcels cannot exceed the total number of parcels in the LTL shipment.
Select Signature Services for any parcel that you designate. Signatures will be required on delivery.

When you select Signature Services under Ground (Freight Pricing) on the Options tab, you must enter the number of parcels for each Signature Services type.
The value of the parcel declared by you for purposes of obtaining additional protection against loss or damage exceeds the maximum liability limitations. The maximum amount allowed for Excess Declared Value is 999999999.99, and the only allowed currency is USD.
When you select Large Package under Ground (Freight Pricing) on the Options tab, enter the number of parcels for which UPS WorldShip applies the Large Package Surcharge.
Use this shipment option to offset the carbon dioxide (or CO2) emissions and reduce the impact to the climate associated with the transportation of your shipment.

When you select UPS carbon neutral under Ground (Freight Pricing) on the Options tab, the shipment option is applied to all parcels in the shipment.
Allows you to assess handling charges by increasing or decreasing one of the following:
A flat rate per parcel
A flat rate per shipment
A percentage of the shipment cost
