Note: The postal code consists of a 5-digit Postcode plus a 4-digit add-on code. The postal code is commonly referred to as Postcode+4.
This window appears before the UPS Address Reconciler window and allows you to choose or decline automatic reconciliation of addresses that only require the addition of a +4 add-on-code to the 5-digit Postcode.
Using the ZIP+4 Update Notification window, you can:
Click the Update button to add the latest ZIP+4 updates to the addresses in your Address Book. The ZIP+4 updates will not appear in the list of addresses to be reconciled in the UPS Address Reconciler window.
Click the Cancel button to discard the latest ZIP+4 updates without adding them to the addresses in your Address Book. The ZIP+4 updates will appear in the list of addresses to be reconciled in the UPS Address Reconciler window; you must manually reconcile those addresses.
Select or clear the Always apply ZIP+4 updates as they become available and the Don't show this screen again check boxes as follows:
Select both the check boxes to suppress displaying this window and to automatically add the latest ZIP+4 updates to the addresses in your Address Book as they become available. The ZIP+4 updates will not appear in the list of addresses to be reconciled in the UPS Address Reconciler window.
Clear the Automatically apply ZIP+4 updates as they become available check box and select the Don't show this screen again check box to suppress displaying this window and to discard the latest ZIP+4 updates without adding them to the addresses in your Address Book. The ZIP+4 updates will appear in the list of addresses to be reconciled in the UPS Address Reconciler window; you must manually reconcile those addresses.
If you want to display this window again after you have suppressed it by selecting the Don't show this screen again check box, click Auto Reconcile from the Auto Reconciliation menu in the UPS Address Reconciler window. The ZIP+4 Update Notification window appears, and you can change your selection of the Don't show this screen again check box.
