Batch Export

Note: This task requires previous experience working with databases. Ask your technical staff for help if necessary.

To complete a batch export:

  1. On the Import-Export tab, select Batch Export. The Batch Export Data window appears.

  2. Select an export map name in the Select a Map to Export Data To grid.

    Tip:
     Do not select a map in which reserved words (such as Currency) have been used in column names.

  3. If you select a Charge Back Code map in the Select a Map to Export Data To grid, the Reference No. 1 and Reference No. 2 check boxes appear under Charge Back Code. Select these check boxes as needed.

  4. If present under Shipment Export Data, select one of the following:

  5. All shipment data recorded on or after a certain date. Select the All Records On or After check box and click the down arrow and select the date from the calendar.

  6. All shipment data recorded before a certain date. Select the From Earliest Dated Record To check box and click the down arrow and select the date from the calendar.

  7. All shipment data recorded between two dates (default). Select the From check box. In the left box, click the down arrow and select the date from the calendar. In the right box, click the down arrow and select the date from the calendar.

  1. If tabs are present, do the following as needed:

  2. Address data in particular address books. Select the appropriate address book check boxes on the Address Books tab (such as Importer, Producer, Ship From, Ship To, Third Party, and Ultimate Receiver).

  3. Distribution list data. Click the Distribution Lists tab and select the appropriate distribution list check boxes.

  1. To delete all records from a previous export, select the Delete Existing Records After Export check box.

  2. Click the Next button. The Import/Export Preview window appears.

  3. Click the Next button. When the export is complete, the Import/Export Summary window appears.

  4. Do one of the following:

  5. Click the Save button to save the changes you made.

  6. Click the Discard button to close this window without saving any changes.

  7. Click the Keep Log button to define the path and directory where the summary information will be saved.

  8. Select the Auto Save Log check box to save the summary information automatically to a log.
