You can move your WorldShip data from one single workstation to another single workstation.
To move your WorldShip data:
Access and use the instructions to move WorldShip data to another computer. See Print Instructions to Move WorldShip Data to Another Computer.
On computer # 1:
On the Manage
Data menu, click Move WorldShip Data to Another Computer. The Move WorldShip
Data Instructions window appears.
Note: Do not use the Copy (Backup) WorldShip Data Before an Upgrade command to do this task. The wrong path will be created and the move process will not be completed.
Click the Backup button. The Backup Files window appears.
Select the folder to which you want to back up the WorldShip files using one of the following methods:
To use the default location (that is, \UPS\WSTD\Support\DBSupport), click the Backup button.
To select a different location, click the Browse button, navigate to and select the folder, click the OK button, and click the Backup button.
The Backup Files progress window appears, and then "The file backup has completed." message appears and shows the path to the backup files.
Record the path to the backup files (such as \UPS\WSTD\Support\DBSupport\UPSWS_MoveBackup_YYYYMMDD_Vxxx) to use when you copy the data to computer # 2.
Click the OK button. The Backup Files window appears.
Click the Exit button. The Move WorldShip Data Instructions window appears.
Navigate to and select the backup folder on computer # 1 and copy the UPSWS_MoveBackup_YYYYMMDD_Vxxx folder from computer # 1 to a location that is accessible from computer # 2.
On computer # 2, install WorldShip with the following options:
Use the same install location on computer # 2 as used on computer # 1. If the install locations do not match, the data is not moved correctly.
In the UPS WorldShip Setup window, select the Finish Moving WorldShip Data check box.
In the Finish Moving WorldShip Data window, click the Browse button and navigate to and select the UPSWS_MoveBackup folder on computer # 2.
