International Shipping Features
Editors and Other Tools
Density-Based Rating Method – A new density-based rating method based on dimensional weight is available by contract for UPS Freight LTL and UPS Ground (Freight Pricing) shippers. See Process a UPS Ground (Freight Pricing) Shipment.
New Company Display Name Field – A new Company Display Name field is available on a contract basis. This field allows the shipper to enter a different Company Name that will display to My Choice customers wherever the shipper name appears in tracking.
Shipment and Package Options – New options include Drop-Off at UPS Location, Pickup at UPS Location, and Excess Declared Value. See Shipment and Package Options and Shipment Options for Ground Freight LTL - Ground (Freight Pricing) Rate Comparison.
SurePost and UPS Mail Innovations Shipments – For consignees in
the APO, DPO, FPO, and US territories, WorldShip now uses the USPS IMPB PIC
number for the CN 22 number. For consignees outside the APO, DPO, FPO,
and US territories, WorldShip now uses an automatically downloaded CN
22 label number range. See Shipper Editor and CN 22 Label Number Range
under Editors and Other Tools in this help topic.
Note: When upgrading to WorldShip 16.0, WorldShip clears the existing CN 22 range in its database that you entered previously.
UPS Mail Innovations Shipments – The following enhancements were made:
Send Data to UPS – Shipment information is sent to UPS during close out of UPS Mail Innovations shipments. See Close Out UPS Mail Innovations Shipments.
Quantum View Notify Ship Notification – This package option is now available for UPS Mail Innovations shipments. See Process a UPS Mail Innovations Shipment.
UPS SurePost Shipments – The following enhancements were made:
Delivery Area Surcharge – A new Delivery Area Surcharge message appears on the status bar in the Shipping window and on the Misc. tab in the Shipment History window.
Return Services Shipment Option – The With Return Services check box is available on the Service tab. If selected, the UPS Service box defaults to Ground and the Return Services type defaults to the type selected on the Return Services tab in the Shipper Editor window.
Repeat Shipments – The Repeat as Return Service Shipment command on the Activities menu in the Shipment History window allows you to repeat a UPS SurePost shipment. See Repeat Shipment as Return Service Shipment.

International Shipping Features
Air Freight Paperless Invoice Shipments – The following enhancements were made:
Goods Limit – You can add up to 1,000 goods. If you add more than 1,000 goods, a message alerts you that the shipment exceeds the limit of 1,000 goods and advises you to clear the Process as Paperless check box on the Customs Documentation tab to process the shipment as a paper shipment or else to reduce the number of goods.
Multiple Currencies – An Invoice for an Air Freight shipment can now include multiple currencies.
Invoice Total – An Invoice total for an Air Freight shipment can now be 16 characters in length (9999999999999.99).
Unit Price of Good – The Unit Price for a good can now be 19 characters in length (999999999999.999999).
Document/Form Determination – To go to the Access International Forms Page on UPS.com, click the International Forms Library on the UPS Web Access menu. To go to this Page during shipment processing, simply click Access Additional Forms on the Customs Documentation tab. See Access the International Forms Library and Specify Customs Documentation Information.
Small Package and Air Freight Lane Preferences – Paperless and Printed lane preference options are now available for both small package and Air Freight (depending on the contract availability). See International Tab in the Shipper Editor Window.
Small Package Packing List – WorldShip will now create a Packing List for your small package shipments. See Specify the Packing List Details for Small Package Shipments.
Terms of Sale Codes – Two new Terms of Sale codes were added: DAP and DAT. See Terms of Sale Codes.
New Worldwide Express Freight Service – You can now ship pallets as small packages; schedule pickup or locate a drop-off facility; print labels, invoices, and reports; and upload shipment information during the End of Day process. See Process a Shipment with the Worldwide Express Freight Service Option.
Upload User-Created Forms – A new contract service that allows you to upload user-created forms. The origin and destination countries must support Paperless, and the shipment must be a valid small package or Air Freight UPS Paperless Invoice shipment. See Upload User-Created Forms from Customs Documentation Tab.

Editors and Other Tools
Address Book Editor – The Company Display Name field is available on a contract basis. This field allows the shipper to enter a different Company Name that will display to My Choice customers wherever the shipper name appears in tracking.
Custom Label Editor – The Custom Label Editor now supports the following:
Drag and Drop Fields and Images – Drag and drop WorldShip fields and images onto the canvas in the Edit Template window. To provide the drag and drop functionality of an image, the Add Image button was removed, and the Image Library was added in the lower left of this window.
Custom Shipment Label Header – Create and save a shipment label header template that can be used on the top 2-inch (or local equivalent) extended area of the Thermal 4" x 8" or 4" x 8¼" label, Laser 8½" x 11" label, Laser 8½" x 11" (2 Labels per Page) label, and Laser A4 210 x 297 label.
Image Library – A new image library allows you to upload the following formats while using the Custom Label Editor: .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .png, and .tif.
Multiple Profile Association with Templates – Associate a custom label and/or a custom shipment label header template to one or more profiles from within the Custom Label Editor.

Handling Unit Editor – This new editor appears if at least one shipper has a contract with UPS to receive density rating for prepaid Ground Freight LTL or UPS Ground (Freight Pricing) shipments. See About the Handling Unit Editor.
Package Type Editor – Select the This is a Pallet check box to indicate that the package type is to be used for Worldwide Express Freight shipments only.
Shipper Editor and CN 22 Label Number Range – You no longer need to enter a CN 22 label number range in WorldShip for UPS SurePost and UPS Mail Innovations shipments.
For UPS SurePost: The Start and End Range Number boxes for the CN 22 Label Number Range on the UPS SurePost tab in the Shipper Editor were removed. Now WorldShip uses the USPS IMPB PIC number for the CN 22 number for UPS SurePost shipments.
For UPS Mail Innovations: The Start and End Range Number boxes for the CN 22 Label Number Range on the UPS Mail Innovations tab in the Shipper Editor were removed. Now WorldShip automatically requests the CN 22 Label Number Range, stores the range in its database, and displays the range on this tab. Upon reaching the end of the range, WorldShip requests, stores, and displays a new range.
Shipper Editor – The following enhancements were made to the Shipper Editor:
On the Freight tab, under Number of Labels to Print (Worldwide Express Freight), enter the number of labels to print (from 5 to 99) for Worldwide Express Freight shipments in the Per Pallet box. See Freight Tab in the Shipper Editor Window.
On the Shipper Information and Alternate Ship From tabs, the Company Display Name field is available on a contract basis. This field allows the shipper to enter a different Company Name that will display to My Choice customers wherever the shipper name appears in tracking.
System Preferences Editor – The following enhancements were made to the System Preferences Editor:
Shipping Tab – Specify the default value for the pallet height (for Ground (Freight Pricing) only) and the End of Day processing type. See Set Shipping System Preferences.
Settings Tab – This new tab allows you to set a Beta testing candidate
preference for the next version of WorldShip and a language preference
in which to display WorldShip. In addition, the current preferences for
Display Help, Archive Data, and Default Backup Directory were moved from
the Miscellaneous tab to the new System Settings tab. See Set System Settings System Preferences.
Tip: The language and Beta testing candidate preferences appear only for the workgroup administrative workstation and the single workstation.
Printing Setup Tab – This tab was re-designed to allow you to configure and use a total of 100 distributed printers. See Set Printing Setup System Preferences.
Task Schedule Editor – You can schedule a task to display an End of Day reminder message. See Schedule a Task.
Toolbar Editor – You can now add the following buttons to the custom toolbar (see Create and Save a Custom Toolbar):
Change Printers – Click this button to display the Select Printer(s) window and select a different printer before processing a shipment.
Printing Setup – Click this button to display the Printing Setup tab in the System Preferences Editor window and add or update your distributed printer preferences.

XML Maps – You can create import and export maps to XML folders. See Create an Import Map from an XML Folder and Create or Edit an Export Map from WorldShip to an XML Folder.
XML Import File Validation – The validation tool validates XML import files based on the WorldShip schema. See Verify XML Import Files.

Coming Soon to WorldShip – Even though it is not available for use after installing WorldShip 16.0, a new Social Media and Live Chat bar will be added to your Shipping window in the near future and will appear just beneath the toolbar. See Shipping Window Overview.
New Manage Data Menu – This new menu allows you to back up your WorldShip files before you upgrade WorldShip. See Copy (Backup) WorldShip Data Before an Upgrade. In addition, this menu also has an option that allows single workstations to move WorldShip data from one single workstation to another single workstation. See Move WorldShip Data to Another Computer.
New Origin Countries – If you have a valid UPS Account Number, you can now commission WorldShip in Ghana and Moldova.
WorldShip Home Page Button on Toolbar – A new WorldShip Home Page button appears on the toolbar. If the envelope displayed on this button changes from white to red, a message is available for you to view on the UPS WorldShip Home Page. This button is a shortcut for the UPS WorldShip Home Page command on the UPS Web Access menu.
Microsoft Windows – WorldShip now supports Windows 8.
