Update the Status of a Shipper

If the status of a shipper shows Pending in the Shipper Editor window, you can recheck the status of the shipper.

To update the status of a pending shipper:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Shipper Editor. The Shipper Editor window appears.

  2. Under Existing Shipper Numbers, select the pending shipper for which you want to check the status.

  3. Click the Update Status button. UPS WorldShip contacts the UPS Data Center, checks the shipper’s status, and then refreshes the status of the shipper in the Shipper Editor window.

    The status is refreshed only if the original request to add the shipper has been processed by UPS. This process may take an hour or more.

  4. When you are finished, click the Close button.
