The Required Field Set Editor allows you to create a required field set, which changes optional fields (that is, those fields not required by the UPS required field set) to required fields.
To access the Required Field Set Editor, click Required Field Set Editor on the Tools menu or click the Editor button next to the Required Field Set box in the Profile Editor window. Using this editor, you can create, delete, and modify required field sets as well as view the UPS required field set. To see a list of optional fields that you can make required, see View the UPS Required Field Set.
When working with required field sets, keep in mind:
To use a required field set, you must assign it to a profile, which in turn can be assigned to a specific shipper or customer or selected from the Profile box in the Shipping window.
You can assign the same required field set to more than one profile.
If you do not assign a required field set to a profile or select a profile in the Shipping window, UPS WorldShip assigns the UPS required field set.
If you work in a Local Area Network (LAN) environment, see Required Field Set Editor Rules in a LAN Environment.
