UPS SurePost Rates

UPS SurePost® is an economy service for your non-urgent, business to consumer needs of low value. UPS makes the shipment pick-up, and the U.S. Postal Service® (USPS®) makes the final delivery, seven days a week. Sunday delivery is only in select areas with UPS Saturday operations and valid Sunday service ZIP Codes with the USPS.

SurePost uses the USPS Undeliverable /Returns options (USPS Ancillary Service Endorsements) that provides shippers instructions on handling undeliverable packages.

Effective December 27, 2022, UPS® SurePost rates will increase an average of 6.9%.

2023 Updated SurePost 1 lb or greater rates
2023 Updated SurePost less than 1 lb rates
2023 Updated SurePost BPM
2023 Updated SurePost Media rates

Effective March 26, 2023, one of the following will apply to SurePost packages that meet certain criteria:

Non-Standard Cube Charge
- Any package with L x W x H measuring more than 2 cubic feet (3456 cubic inches)

Non-Standard Extra Length Charge
- Any package with longest side measuring more than 30 inches 

Non-Machinable Charge
- An additional charge per package applies to the following:
   a) Any package with one dimension measuring more than 27 inches and not exceeding 30 inches
   b) Any package with any two dimensions each measuring more than 17 inches and not exceeding 30 inches
   c) Any package weighing over 35 lb.

Non-Standard Length Charge
-Any package with longest side measuring more than 22 inches and not exceeding 27 inches

A Non-Standard Cube Charge, Non-Standard Extra Length, Non-Machinable or Non-Standard Length Charge will not be assessed when Additional Handling or Large Package Surcharge is applied.
