You can request SMS Tracking with your mobile device*. Registered users can share tracking updates with up to five phone numbers. When you're tracking a package, select "Request Status Updates" to opt-in. You will need to do this for each shipment you'd like to monitor closely.
You can also track packages on the go using your mobile phone's SMS feature. It's as simple as texting a friend.
