Most elementary school kids can’t spell the word “entrepreneur,” but that didn’t stop little Treandos from wanting to become one. After seeing his dad wearing bowties, he told his parents he wanted to start his own company – T&N Bowties and Apparel. And his reason? To help people feel good about themselves. That drive to help others didn’t stop with founding his business. When Treandos learned that some people didn’t have enough food to eat, he wanted to help them, too. This holiday season, UPS and our drivers helped make his wish come true.
Treandos and his family were invited to the UPS hub in Atlanta to meet the drivers and give them gold bowties. Drivers wore the ties for a special day to help raise awareness of food insecurity and let people on their routes know how to help. What Treandos didn’t know was the drivers also had a surprise holiday delivery for him—a UPS package car filled with food and toys to be donated in his name to United Food Force, Inc. So what is Treandos’s wish now? In his words, “To feed kids all across the world.” If anyone can do it, he can.
