How to ship to The UPS Store

With 5,000 locations across North America, shipping to a The UPS Store® location is a convenient and secure way of arranging package delivery.

How can I ship to The UPS Store locations?

There are two main ways to arrange shipment to a The UPS Store retail location. The first is through
UPS My Choice® for home or for business. Follow these simple steps:

  • Log into, or sign up for, your UPS My Choice®

  • Specify a convenient The UPS Store location as your ship-to address. Use The UPS Store locator to find convenient locations, or review your options within the UPS My Choice tool.

  • Receive estimated delivery windows and real-time delivery alerts, then pick up your delivery at a time of your choosing.

Just remember to check the hours of operation at your pick-up location. You can find hours and contact details at your store’s local page.

Customers not signed up for the UPS My Choice service who receive a failed delivery attempt also have the option to reroute their shipments to a The UPS Store location or other UPS Access Point locations.

The second way to receive shipments at a The UPS Store location is to open a personal or business mailbox.  With a UPS mailbox, you will receive a real street address to use. You will also enjoy 24-hour access to your mailbox (check local store for details).

Remember The UPS Store is a one-stop shop for your packing, shipping and other small business related needs. Access additional services, such as professional printing, document shredding and even notary while in-store.

Ship to a UPS Access Point

The UPS Store is an important part of UPS’s wider network of drop-off and collection locations. From local stores to self-service lockers, UPS Access Point® offers a broad array of convenient options for picking up your package in addition to The UPS Store.

By shipping to a UPS Access Point location, you’ll enjoy extended hours for collection, including evenings and weekends. Select from a range of neighborhood retailers, from dry cleaners and convenience stores to participating CVS® and Michaels® stores. Just remember to bring a government-issued photo ID and relevant documentation at pickup. Check out the exact requirements on what to bring.

Shipping to a self-service locker is equally straightforward. UPS lockers are fully automated and available in neighborhood locations and retail stores. Select a self-service locker, if one is available in your area, when specifying your ship-to address through your UPS My Choice® account.

To retrieve a package, simply use the locker’s touchscreen kiosk to locate your shipment before verifying your identity or entering an authorization code. You can search for a package with your UPS tracking number, UPS My Choice delivery notification, or UPS InfoNotice® note left by the driver in the event of a failed delivery.

Offering greater control over deliveries

The UPS Access Point network is designed for maximum flexibility and convenience for customers. It’s also a great way for local retailers to bring additional traffic into their stores.

The same is true for e-commerce merchants. The most successful e-tailers make the purchase process as simple and convenient as possible for customers.

Bring the same user-friendly experience to your e-commerce site. Through a simple integration, shoppers can browse the UPS Access Point locations available to them as they complete their orders on your website.
