How can I ship a package internationally using UPS CampusShip?

UPS CampusShip allows customers to ship internationally, provided that they have the necessary supporting export documentation for all packages. To select the appropriate forms for your shipment, follow these steps:

  1. After completing a shipment, either the Complete Shipment page or Select Documentation Forms page appears (based on your International Document settings).

If you have already set your International Document preference to display suggested forms for your shipments, the Select Documentation Forms page will appear. The checkboxes next to the recommended export forms will be selected. You can check or uncheck any form listed.

If you have not set your International Document preference to display suggested forms for your shipments, the Complete Shipment page will appear. Under the "Next Steps" section, select the Export Documents link in order to get export documents for your shipment.

    Note:
You can set your International Document preferences on the Edit Shipping Preferences page. Please print all appropriate documentation and labels before leaving the Complete Shipment or Select Documentation Forms page.

  2. If you have set your International Document preference, the Select Documentation Forms page will appear. You can complete the selected forms online or print blank forms and complete them manually.
  • Select Create Documents to fill in the required information and create completed, printable export forms.
  • Select Print Blank Forms to print out and complete the selected blank forms manually at your convenience.

Note: International forms must be enabled by your Administrator.

For information regarding which export documents may be required for your shipment, select Resources on the tool bar, and select Export Documentation. For further information, select For Expert Assistance Contact UPS on the Export Documentation page for the telephone number for International Customer Service.

If you are in the United States or Puerto Rico and a Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) is needed, UPS CampusShip also allows exporters the option of filing a SED electronically with the U.S. Census Bureau or completing the SED manually.

To file a SED electronically, UPS CampusShip will transfer you to the ACE Web site so that you can file your SED before completing your shipment. After successfully filing your SED, you can complete your shipment and print your labels and receipt using UPS CampusShip.

To use this service, exporters must register with ACE (www.ace.cbp.dhs.gov). If you choose to complete your SED manually, you will have to attach the required SED form to your package.

For more information, call the ACE Help Desk at 1-877-715-4433. For UPS International Services information, contact UPS Export Compliance at 502-485-2625.

Note: A fee may apply if UPS files your SED.
