UPS Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) are programming instructions and standards for accessing and integrating UPS functionality into your e-commerce website or enterprise applications. There are two different types of APIs; both use Extensible Markup Language (XML). The first type uses straight XML; while the second type uses Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Web Service Definition Language (WSDL).
These APIs give your customers the ability to track products they have purchased online, compare and choose from a variety of shipping services that best serve their needs, and handle shipping logistics more efficiently than ever before.
