Enter Pickup Information

This is the first step in creating your pickup request. We recommend you have your UPS Tracking Numbers handy prior to entering your pickup information. If you do not have the UPS Tracking Numbers for this pickup you will be required to re-enter your pickup information to complete your pickup request.  Enter the information requested, noting the required fields indicated with a Required symbol. Select Next when the information is complete.

Scheduling a Pickup

You can arrange to have your shipment picked up at your home or office. To schedule your pickup online, follow these steps:

If you are logged into My UPS and you have an account saved in your Preferences:

  1. Select Shipping in the area at the top.
  2. Select Schedule a Pickup in the area at the left.
  3. Indicate whether you have already obtained shipping labels or preprinted Return labels.
  4. Enter the required customer information or choose a name from your Address Book.
  5. Enter the number of letters and/or packages that need to be picked up for each service type.
  6. Select the date, time, and location for your pickup.
  7. Enter a phone number and an e-mail address for the contact person at your requested pickup location. This optional information will allow you to electronically communicate information about the shipment.
  8. Select Next to verify the details of your pickup request.
  9. Select Next to receive your pickup confirmation and a Pickup Request Number. Note: Please print this confirmation page for future reference. You will need the Pickup Request Number to cancel, modify, or track the status of your pickup.

If you are logged into My UPS and you have a Daily Pickup, Daily On-Route Pickup, Day-Specific Pickup, or UPS Smart Pickup® Account type in your Account Summary:

  1. Select Shipping in the area at the top.
  2. Select Schedule a Pickup in the area at the left.
  3. Select a Payment Method from the drop-down menu.
  4. Indicate whether you have already obtained shipping labels or preprinted Return labels. Note: this information will not display for UPS Smart Pickup Accounts.
  5. Enter the required customer information or choose a name from your Address Book.
  6. Enter the number of letters and/or packages that need to be picked up for each service type.
  7. Select the date, time, and location for your pickup.
  8. Enter a phone number and an e-mail address for the contact person at your requested pickup location. This optional information will allow you to electronically communicate information about the shipment.
  9. Select Next to verify the details of your pickup request.
  10. Select Next to receive your pickup confirmation and a Pickup Request Number. Note: Please print this confirmation page for future reference. You will need the Pickup Request Number to cancel, modify, or track the status of your pickup.

If you are not logged into My UPS:

  1. Select Shipping in the area at the top.
  2. Select Schedule a Pickup in the area at the left.
  3. Indicate whether you have already obtained shipping labels or preprinted Return labels.
  4. If you have a UPS Account, enter the Account Number and Account ZIP/Postal Code
  5. Enter the required customer information.
  6. Enter the number of letters and/or packages that need to be picked up for each service type.
  7. Select the date, time, and location for your pickup.
  8. Enter a phone number and an e-mail address for the contact person at your requested pickup location. This optional information will allow you to electronically communicate information about the shipment.
  9. Select Next.
  10. Enter all payment information.
  11. Select Next to verify the details of your pickup request.
  12. Select Next to receive your pickup confirmation and a Pickup Request Number. Note: Please print this confirmation page for future reference. You will need the Pickup Request Number to cancel, modify, or track the status of your pickup.

How To Complete Pickup Date and Time Information

Select a Pickup Date to indicate when UPS should pick up from your location. Next, select the Earliest Pickup Time to let UPS know when your pickup will be ready. Finally, select the Latest Pickup Time to indicate the latest time that UPS can gain access to your shipment.

How To Complete Pickup Location Information

Enter as much information as possible so that your shipment may be easily located.

  • If you are logged into My UPS:
    You will be able to select an existing pickup address from your My UPS Address Book to be your preferred pickup location.
  • If you are not logged into My UPS:
    You can manually enter your preferred pickup information.

How To Enter Specific Pickup Instructions

At your option, you can enter special instructions for the UPS driver. Choose from the Preferred Pickup Location options provided to further specify your location or pickup details. You can enter additional comments in the Special Instructions area below.
