UPS Paperless™ Invoice is an industry first that promotes sustainability and eliminates the need for paper commercial invoices by integrating order and shipment processing, and transmitting commercial invoice data to enable clearance by customs offices across the globe. You can easily manage your paperless shipping lane preferences on a per-shipment basis, or by shipping lane, to gain even more flexibility.
All you have to do is enter shipment commodity details into your UPS shipping system. The information is then available electronically and used to clear your shipment through customs. If you complete your international paperwork outside of the shipping system, the Upload My Forms feature allows you to upload your own trade documents to travel electronically with your shipment. With this electronic transmission, shipment processing for package or air freight can begin earlier, enabling timely customs clearance.
