Outbound Alerts in Quantum View Manage

Outbound Alerts

Outbound alerts notify you when there is an update about your shipment. Three types of outbound e-mail alerts are available:

  1. Exception Alert: notifies you each time an exception occurs, as well as only those that change the scheduled delivery date of a shipment. Exceptions include:
    • Damages
    • Holds
    • Incomplete/Incorrect Data
    • Collection/Appointment/Delivery Attempted
    • Prohibited/Restricted
    • Returns
    • Service Disruptions
    • Weather Delay/Emergency
  2. Delivery Confirmation Alert: notifies you of all shipments delivered within 24 hours of the scheduled daily alert time you choose.
  3. UPS Freight Forwarding Alert: notifies you each time a selected freight event occurs for air and ocean freight shipments.
