If you are upgrading your operating system or are moving your WorldShip installation to a new computer, we recommend you install the latest version of WorldShip. Certain Microsoft® Edge web browser settings will prevent WorldShip links from opening correctly when using Windows 11. If using Windows 11, ensure your Default Browser setting “Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge” is set to “Incompatible sites only” so links from WorldShip continue to work as intended. If you experience issues and notice the default setting is set to “Always”, open Edge and change the setting back to ‘Incompatible”.
To stay up-to-date with the latest rate and service data elements from UPS, it is encouraged to keep your WorldShip application upgraded to the latest version. When using a version of WorldShip other than the current year’s release, it is good to be aware of UPS’ data object distribution policy:
While these limitations do not prevent you from processing shipment using WorldShip, you may experience an inaccurate shipping rate and the potential for post-manifest adjustments on your invoice if using an outdated version. Upgrading to the latest version ensures you ship with accurate rates every time.
