How do I create a new location?

Select Administration from the left side of the page, go to Manage Locations, and then select Create Location. This page allows you to create a new location. Before selecting Update to save changes, make sure all required fields shown in bold contain acceptable and accurate data. A confirmation page will display when your location has been created.

How do I edit an existing location?

Select Administration from the left side of the page, go to Manage Locations, and select Search Locations. After conducting your search, select the location to edit from the Search Results list. To edit the location, select View/Edit. You may modify your search by changing your search terms or criteria.

Once you have selected a location, you may update any allowable fields on the Location Detail page. Before selecting Update to save changes, make sure all required fields (shown in bold) contain acceptable and accurate data.

How do I delete a location?

Select Administration from the left side of the page, go to Manage Locations, and select Search Locations. After conducting your search, select the location to delete from the Search Results list. To delete the location, select Delete. You may modify your search by changing your search terms or criteria.

A Confirm Delete screen will display showing the location you are requesting to delete. Deleting a location removes all information, including certain user information, for that location stored on UPS CampusShip.

Note: Users assigned to a deleted location will be unable to process shipments through UPS CampusShip until they are assigned to a new location.

How do I assign a location to a user?

How you assign a location to a user depends on where you are within the UPS CampusShip Administration process. The most common methods are listed here. Additional help is available from any screen that offers this option.

When you first create a user, do the following:

  1. To assign a company location, select Search for Location Names. This will open the Assign Location screen where you can select the radio button next to the location name you want to assign. From this window select Assign to complete and return to the previous screen.
  2. Select Create to save the entry as a new user.
  3. Select Cancel if you want to discard your entry and return to the previous screen.

When editing an existing user:

  1. To assign a company location, select Search for Location Names. This will open the Assign Location screen where you can select the radio button next to the location name you want to assign. From this window select Assign to complete and return to the previous screen.
  2. Select Update to save the entry.
  3. Select Cancel if you want to discard your entry and return to the previous screen.
