Providing service to and from less populated or accessible domestic and international areas carries higher operating costs. The extended and remote area surcharges are assessed to more accurately reflect the cost of providing service to these areas.

Recent Rate Changes

Updates to Paper Commercial Invoice Surcharge
Effective June 7, 2026, the Paper Commercial Invoice Surcharge will be revised to HKD 327 per shipment. This fee applies when the Commercial Invoice is only provided in the form of paper prior to being processed by UPS.

Update to Fuel Surcharge
Effective May 18, 2026, UPS will be revising the rates for fuel surcharge. Details on the changes can be found in the link here.
2026 Mid-Year Rates and Services Update

UPS new published rates take effect from June 7, 2026.

Latest changes to the 2026 UPS® Hong Kong SAR International UPS® Rate and Service Guide include:

  • Addition of UPS Hong Kong WeChat QR code.
  • Update to International Processing Fee description under Service with Additional Charges (Non-Contractual) section.
  • Update from UPS Carbon Neutral* to UPS Carbon Offsets*, and its description, under Other Additional Charges section.

Latest changes to the 2026 UPS® Hong Kong SAR Domestic Rate and Service Guide include:

  • Addition of UPS Hong Kong WeChat QR code.

Revision to Late Payment Fee

Effective December 21, 2025, the Late Payment Fee will increase to 8% for any sums outstanding as of the specified payment due date. The fee is subject to maximum limits.

We strongly encourage you to settle invoices on time to avoid incurring the fee. Use UPS Billing Centre to easily view, manage and pay invoices online anytime, anywhere.
