Shipping a parcel from the UK to Poland

Send a parcel to Poland starting from £13.45

With a population of over 38 million people, Poland is the fifth most populated member state of the European Union. Its economy and GDP of $565.854 billion is the sixth largest in the EU, and the largest among the former Eastern Bloc members. The Polish economy has been growing steadily for the past 28 years and was the only one in the EU to avoid the 2007-2008 recession thanks to its strong domestic market, low private debt and unemployment rate as well as not being depended on any export sector.

As the 25th largest exporter of goods and services globally, its main export items include machinery, furniture, food products, clothing and cosmetics. Not only is the UK one of its largest trading partners, approximately 800,000 people of Polish nationality call the UK their home, making it one of the largest ethnic minorities in the country.

Poland Customs and Regulations

Shipments to Poland must go through customs since Brexit came into effect on 1st January 2021. This means all shipments require a commercial invoice and potentially other export documentation, and may be subject to custom duties and fees. In order to ship into the EU, you also need an EORI (Economic Operators Registration and Identification) number. This is a unique ID that tracks and registers customs information in the EU. We understand this may all seem a little daunting, so we have compiled useful resources to help prepare your shipment to Poland, such as an export checklist and guides on how to fill out a commercial invoice or register for an EORI number.
